Katharina Keller controls space. She uses it to invest the place with sculptural constructions reminiscent of architecture, construction sites and the idea of a battle. The harshness of the material comes up against the delicacy and sophistication of the more classic forms. With these rough shapes, the artist composes a structured, yet abandoned field.
Katharina Keller (born 1990, in Omsk) has been a master student of Marcel Odenbach since 2021 and is currently studying with Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster at the Düsseldorf Art Academy. She lives and works in Düsseldorf.
