Part-Physical, Part-Virtual Exhibition Featuring Nine International Galleries
Galerie Droste is pleased to present four different artist positions from its program within the Dallas Art Fair Online Show in November. Two of these artists are not new to Dallas Art Fair visitors, as they were already shown in the spring edition of this year's Dallas Art Fair by Galerie Droste. Willehad Eilers (*1981) from Amsterdam and Brian Robertson (*1978) from Los Angeles will present new canvas works. While Eilers throws the viewer into collective, surreal, sprawling scenery, Brian Robertson's work is marked by quiet, self-referential nuances.
In addition, this time the Austrian-American artist Lydia Maria Pfeffer (*1976) from New York and the Hungarian artist Ákos Ezer (*1989) from Budapest are also present. The latter shows two new ceramic works. An artistic discipline that has been added to his expressive pictorial work over the past year, adding a multi-layered layer to his canvas works. Lydia Maria Pfeffer, on the other hand, is showing two painterly works that are characteristic of her, which, like her entire oeuvre, immerse themselves in the world of fable stories and transfer fairytale, morally charged narratives into the present.
